We are pleased to announce that the Active Living Coalition for Older Adults (ALCOA) will launch its Passport to Healthy Living in French and English at the end of March 2012.

The Passport will be used in community programs that focus on the prevention of Type 2 diabetes amongst older adults (age 55+), and management of diabetes among older adults who have Type 2 diabetes. The Quaich Inc. provided consulting expertise during the research, development and testing of the Passport and accompanying leader guidebook. The Quaich is evaluating the tools and Atlantic Evaluation Group is evaluating the project.

The French and English versions of the Passport have been piloted and feedback obtained. The results from the survey for the French version have been translated and are currently in the process of being analyzed.
