We would like to welcome back two staff members from maternity leave! Sara MacDougall and Mizuho Miller are returning to work part-time for The Quaich after becoming mothers to beautiful baby girls. We know that our clients will enjoy working with them again, and we are glad to have their creativity and knowledge back on our team.
In addition, our co-op student Jonathan Noonan has had his contract extended. We're pleased that Jonathan will be staying with us until early December.
In parting news, Michelle Jay, who has been with The Quaich since 2008, has accepted the position of Program Coordinator with the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women. Michelle has a long standing interest in and commitment to advancing women’s issues and is delighted with the opportunity to take another step in achieving this goal. We will feel the loss of her presence in our Quaich workspace and in our projects. Her warmth, sense of humour, skills and investment in community are tremendous assets - and will be sorely missed in our daily work, but we hope to stay connected through work on our Status of Women project. Farewell Michelle!
